Even nearly 20 years after the first Scrum book was published, there is still confusion about the product owner role. Is the product owner the product manager? Can there really be a single product owner, even for a large product? Is the product owner focused on the product backlog, or has the role a wider responsibility? In this talk, I share my understanding of the product owner role, and I offer tips to help you effectively apply it, drawing on my experience of working with Scrum product owners for more than 15 years
