"What do you do for a living?" No doubt we've all asked and answered that question many times. It's deceptive though. What it's really asking is "what do you do for an income?" The question is concerned with assessing a person's worth and has little to do with Living, little to do with the joy of life, with love, family, friendship, hopes, dreams, big ideas and the many trials and tribulations that make us who we are. This session will focus on a slightly altered version of that question: What do you do for Living?
Working in small groups, from speaker prompts, the participants will craft a personal Whole Person* statement in response to this altered question, something perhaps to use at the next awkward social event you find yourself at.

* Wholeness is one of the three guiding principles identified by Frederic Laloux in his work Reinventing Organizations as essential for a healthy, living, evolving system, the other two being self-management and evolutionary purpose.
